Way for safer Diwali

DIWALI is approaching – bringing with it amazing firework displays, which will light up the sky throughout India. And although fireworks are great entertainment, accidents and injuries do happen and that's why it’s important to follow the safety precautions during the fireworks. Remember to stand well back and never go back to a firework once it has been lit. Sparklers are fun but they can reach temperatures 20 times the boiling point of water. Don't give them to children under five. And make sure children playing with sparklers wear gloves and hold them at arm's length, away from their body. Used sparklers can still be very hot, so when they’ve gone out put them hot end down in a bucket of water. Fireworks are an important part of the festival of lights – make sure you follow the precautions for firework, which will lead to a very safe and happy Diwali.
